Position: E-commerce & Buyer’s Assistant - Full Time

Reports to: Buyer/Planner & Ecommerce Coordinator

Position Purpose: To support and assist the Buyer/Planner & Ecommerce Coordinator in the day to day operations, including planning of stock allocation/administration and optimisation of the online platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collating & entering reorders daily from reports and data managed by the Buyer/Planner
  • Liaising and managing relationships with external suppliers in relation to reorders and stock inventory
  • Daily stock transfers between the omni-channel business for online and bricks & mortar store
  • Uploading and maintaining product imagery, ensuring all assets are online in a timely manner and accurately represent the product
  • Copywriting for digital assets, including product descriptions, which should be engaging accurate and correctly detailed
  • Basic onsite merchandising, including the regular maintenance of product placement within categories to meet merchandising principles set out by the Ecommerce Coordinator
  • Uploading, cross-checking and maintaining product pricing
  • Implementing product categorisation and tagging procedures for new and existing products as needed
  • Assisting and supporting the Ecommerce Coordinator as needed with digital growth initiatives

Relationships

  • Reporting to and working closely with the Ecommerce Coordinator and Buyer/Planner to ensure trade is optimised
  • Collaborating with the Buyer/Planner to keep abreast of incoming stock and deliveries to ensure all styles are loaded in a timely manner
  • Liaising with external suppliers to keep up to date on reorders and stock inventory and also ensure all product imagery and relevant product information is received as needed
  • Liaising with the Customer Service team to ensure product descriptions include all necessary information for customers, including fit notes and model details
  • Communicating as needed with our VA to work together to complete tasks

Key Competencies:

  • Fashion background and retail industry experience
  • Detail and accuracy orientated with data
  • Proficient in Excel & use of formulas and reporting
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to different duties as required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to write compelling and accurate copy
  • Strong digital skills
  • Clear understanding of the retail landscape and online/instore shopping experience
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Prior experience with ecommerce platform Shopify is preferred
  • Photoshop/Illustrator skills advantageous

Bookkeeper/End to End Accounts Officer

White and Co. is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer on a casual basis, working between 8 -  20 hours per week (dependent on the time of month and busy work periods).  You will be solely responsible for the end-to-end accounts for the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and other general office functions. 

 Duties Include:

  • Accounts Payable 
  • Weekly cashflow management reporting and analysis
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Developing, implementing and following financial/accounts processes and procedures
  • Payroll for between 5 - 30 employees (number of employees varies each pay run) including: fortnightly pay runs, lodgement of monthly superannuation, workcover payments and yearly payroll tax
  • Completion and lodgement of monthly Instalment Activity Statements and quarterly Business Activity Statements
  • Monthly P&L reporting
  • Chasing of credits from suppliers for faulty or short shipments
  • Processing of relevant journal entries when required

 Required Skills:

  • High level of experience with Xero;
  • Experience in fashion/retail bookkeeping
  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping
  • Comprehensive experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Extensive experience in payroll
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Proficient in Microsoft products, including Excel and Word
  • Eye for detail and high level of organisation
  • Ability to work in a small team

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication skills and be highly organised. This role is end-to-end, you will be responsible for all accounts related areas of the business. You will need to be able to work autonomously and be self-motivated, as well as work in line with the business owner to keep them up to date with the goings-on of the business.

FULL-TIME WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT – 2 Positions

We are looking for 2 hard-working, reliable and efficient Warehouse Assistants to join our team at our Moorabbin warehouse / HQ.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your role will comprise of the following:

• Picking and Packing of orders
• Loading and unloading of deliveries
• Stock-taking and maintaining inventory levels
• Cleaning and maintaining workspaces / warehouse
• Ensuring inventory is picked & packed in a timely and accurate manner
• Dealing with Australia Post
• Attention to detail is key to the role

This role is very important to the running of the business, and therefore requires someone who is quick on their feet, enjoys a fast paced busy environment and gets satisfaction from a job well done.
